1. INTRODUCTION
These terms and conditions apply to all purchases at YO STUDIOS. By making a purchase, you accept these terms. We recommend that you read them carefully.
2. AGE REQUIREMENT
You must be at least 16 years old to participate in classes (both physical and online). In special cases, we may grant exceptions—please contact us at info@yostudios.dk.
3. PERSONAL PROFILE
To make purchases at YO STUDIOS, you need to create a profile in our booking system. This profile is used to manage your purchases, including class bookings and invoicing.
All memberships, punch cards, and drop-ins are personal and can only be used by the individual associated with the profile used for the purchase.
You must notify us of any changes to your personal information, such as name, address, email, phone number, or payment card. This can be done by updating your profile information.
4. PRICES AND PAYMENT
All prices are in Danish kroner and include VAT and other taxes. You can pay through our website or app using Dankort, VISA, VISA Electron, MasterCard, Maestro, or MobilePay.
For memberships with recurring payments, it is your responsibility to ensure that your linked payment card is active and can process the subscription payment. In case of failed payment, you will receive an email notification and be charged a late fee.
5. MEMBERSHIPS
The following terms apply to all memberships (punch cards and drop-ins are not categorized as "memberships"; see sections 7 and 8).
Membership Types:
Your membership grants you access to the class types and benefits included in the specific membership type. An overview of our membership types and their specific terms can always be found on our price page.
Activation:
You can choose the start date for your membership by clicking on the date picker when making your payment. If you do not make a selection, your membership will automatically start right away.
Payment:
When purchasing a membership, you pay for the first month upfront. Subsequent payments are automatically deducted on the start date of your membership each month using your linked payment card.
Duration:
The membership continues until it is canceled according to section 5.2.
5.1. PAUSING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
You can pause your membership by emailing info@yostudios.dk with the start and end dates of the pause.
Duration:
Maximum of 3 months.
You cannot have two pause periods consecutively.
Once the agreed pause period ends, your membership is automatically reactivated.
Changes:
You can shorten, but not extend, an agreed pause period.
Price:
YO UNLIMITED memberships: 2 free pause periods per year, thereafter DKK 100 per pause.
YO BASIC memberships: DKK 100 per pause.
5.2. CANCELLING YOUR MEMBERSHIP
Cancellations can ONLY be made via your profile in our digital membership system. Cancellations via email, SMS, phone, or social media are invalid and will not be processed.
Notice Period:
Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period + 30 days.
Cancellation During a Pause:
You cannot cancel your membership while it is paused. You must first end the pause and reactivate your membership by emailing info@yostudios.dk. Please note that the standard cancellation terms still apply.
Exceptions:
Special rules apply for corporate memberships (section 5.6).
5.3. CHANGING MEMBERSHIP TYPE
To change your membership type, contact us at info@yostudios.dk. The change will take effect from the next billing period.
You cannot change a regular membership to an online membership (YO MOVES). If you wish to do so, you must first cancel your existing membership following the standard cancellation terms in section 5.2 and then create a YO MOVES membership with your desired start date.
5.4. SPECIAL TERMS FOR DISCOUNTED MEMBERSHIPS - STUDENTS
All our memberships can be purchased at a discounted rate if you are a student. These memberships are labeled with “STUDENT” in their name.
Documentation:
These memberships are ONLY available to students, and documentation is required at the time of purchase. Send it to info@yostudios.dk as soon as you have purchased the membership.
If we do not receive documentation within 30 days of the purchase date, we reserve the right to terminate your membership with our standard notice period as described in section 5.2, and to charge the full price during the termination period.
Change in Status:
If your status changes and you are no longer a student, you are no longer eligible for the discount and must notify us at info@yostudios.dk.
5.5. SPECIAL TERMS FOR DISCOUNTED MEMBERSHIPS - MOVE YOUR FRIENDS
MOVE YOUR FRIENDS is a discount program that can be shared with friends. When you introduce a friend to YO STUDIOS and they sign up for a membership, you both receive a discount:
Discount Rate:
Existing customers: Typically 50% off your next month's payment.
New members: Typically 50% off the first month (normal price thereafter).
The discount rate may vary during campaigns, and YO STUDIOS reserves the right to adjust the rate.
Cancellation:
Standard cancellation rules apply as described in section 5.2.
Conditions:
This program can only be used if you hold one of the following memberships:
YO UNLIMITED / YO UNLIMITED LIGHT
YO BASIC / YO BASIC LIGHT
YO MAMMA/PREGGO variants of the above.
Applicable in all studios, except YO STUDIOS HØJBJERG.
5.6. SPECIAL TERMS FOR DISCOUNTED MEMBERSHIPS - YO PREMIUM FAMILY
At our Højbjerg studio, you can buy a membership at a discounted rate, if you’re two family members living at the same address.
Special Rules for Cancellation:
Cancellation can only be done by writing info@yostudios.dk
Cancelling for one person, automatically cancels both memberships.
Change of status:
If your status changes and you are no longer living at the same address, you are no longer eligible for the discount and must notify us at info@yostudios.dk.
5.7. SPECIAL TERMS FOR DISCOUNTED MEMBERSHIPS - COMPANY AGREEMENTS
Some of our memberships can be purchased at a discounted rate if your employer has a company agreement with YO STUDIOS.
Special Rules for Cancellation:
Notice Period: You may cancel your membership at any time via your YO STUDIOS profile. The cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing period + 3 months.
Change in Status:
If your employment status changes and you are no longer employed by the relevant company, you are no longer eligible for the discount and must notify us at info@yostudios.dk.
6. ONLINE MEMBERSHIP (YO MOVES)
A YO MOVES membership gives you access to on-demand videos and live-streamed classes from our studios, but it does not allow physical attendance at studio classes.
Activation:
The membership starts upon purchase.
Payment:
When purchasing the membership, you pay for the first month upfront. Subsequent payments are automatically deducted on the same date each month using your linked payment card.
Cancellation:
You can cancel your membership without notice. After cancellation, the membership remains active until the end of your current payment period.
Cancellations must be made via your YO STUDIOS profile. Cancellations made via email, SMS, phone, or social media are invalid and will not be processed.
Pause:
You cannot pause this membership. If you wish to take a break, you may cancel and purchase access again later.
7. PUNCH CARDS
Activation:
Punch cards can be used from the date of purchase.
Payment:
Payment is made in full at the time of purchase. There are no setup fees and no automatic renewal.
Validity:
20 punches: 12 months
10 punches: 6 months
5 punches: 3 months
Unused punches expire when the punch card’s validity period ends. They cannot be exchanged for cash, new passes, memberships, or other products from YO STUDIOS.
8. DROP-INS
Activation:
DAY PASS (only available in Højbjerg) starts on the day of your first class booking, and runs for the rest of that day.
1 WEEK DROP starts on the day of your first class booking, and runs for that day and the following six days.
1 CLASS DROP IN can be used from the date of purchase.
Payment:
Payment is made in full at the time of purchase. There are no setup fees and no automatic renewal.
Validity:
30 days from the purchase date.
9. DIGITAL GIFT CARD
Usage:
Can be used for memberships, class passes, DROP-IN products, and YO MOVES.
Cannot be used for mat storage or physical products sold in the studios.
Validity:
2 years from the purchase date.
Delivery:
The gift card will be sent via email within 2 business days.
10. PRINTED GIFT CARD
Usage:
Can only be used for what is specified on the sales page, e.g., specific memberships.
Can only be used by new customers without active memberships.
Validity:
As stated on the sales page.
Cancellation of Membership:
Gift card memberships can be canceled within the first month at no cost.
After that, the membership continues automatically at the normal price, with the standard cancellation period as described in section 5.2.
11. MAT STORAGE
We offer mat storage for DKK 30/month. Contact us at info@yostudios.dk to book a spot.
Payment:
When purchasing, you pay for the first month upfront. Subsequent payments are automatically deducted on the same date each month using your linked payment card.
Cancellation:
You can cancel mat storage without notice. After cancellation, your booking remains active until the end of your current payment period.
Remember to collect your mat before the cancellation takes effect.
Cancellations must be made via your YO STUDIOS profile. Cancellations made via email, SMS, phone, or social media are invalid and will not be processed.
12. PURCHASES MADE IN THE STUDIO
Workout clothing and equipment:
YO STUDIOS sells workout clothing and equipment that can be purchased at our studios.
The price is displayed on the product. Payment is made via MobilePay while you’re at the studio, with instructions provided on displayed signs.
There is no return or cancellation right for these products.
Purchase of YO RECYCLE - second-hand workout clothing:
YO STUDIOS facilitates the resale of second-hand workout clothing from other members, available for purchase at our studios.
The price is displayed on the product. Payment is made via MobilePay while you’re at the studio, with instructions provided on displayed signs.
Since YO STUDIOS only facilitates these sales and you pay the seller directly, YO STUDIOS does not offer returns or cancellation rights for these items.
Products from other vendors:
YO STUDIOS facilitates the sale of selected products from other vendors, available for purchase at our studios.
Prices are listed on the product or attached price lists. Payment is made via MobilePay while you’re at the studio, with instructions provided on displayed signs.
Since YO STUDIOS only facilitates these sales and you pay the vendor directly, YO STUDIOS does not offer returns or cancellation rights for these items. For such matters, you must contact the vendor directly.
13. BOOKING AND CANCELLING CLASSES
Booking classes:
You can book classes via our app or website as soon as you have an active membership or punch card.
Number of active bookings at a time:
YO UNLIMITED: Up to 10 active bookings at a time
Other memberships/class passes: Up to 5 bookings
Future bookings:
You can book classes up to one month in advance, no matter which membership or punch card you have.
Cancellations:
You can cancel your booking up to 4 hours before the class starts (2 hours for Mamma & Preggo classes) without incurring a fee. Late cancellations will incur a fee as described in section 14.
Cancellations must be made via your YO STUDIOS profile. Cancellations made via email, SMS, or social media are invalid and will not be processed.
14. CHANGES AND CANCELLATIONS OF CLASSES BY YO STUDIOS
We do our best to adhere to the schedule, but changes may occur at short notice.
If we change the instructor, content, or time, you will be notified by email and given the option to cancel without a fee.
In case of cancellations (e.g., due to illness), you will be notified via email and SMS. If you booked with a class pass or drop-in class, it will be refunded.
15. LATE CANCELLATION AND NO-SHOW FEES
Late cancellation fees (less than 4 hours before class, or 2 hours for MAMMA & PREGGO classes):
For memberships: 30 DKK
For punch cards: One punch will be deducted
For 1 CLASS DROP IN: Pass will be forfeited
For 1 WEEK DROP IN: One day will be deducted
Late arrival fees (not applicable for MAMMA classes):
For memberships: 50 DKK
For punch cards: One punch will be deducted
For 1 CLASS DROP IN: Pass will be forfeited
For 1 WEEK DROP IN: One day will be deducted
No-show fees:
For memberships: 50 DKK
For punch cards: One punch will be deducted
For 1 CLASS DROP IN: Pass will be forfeited
For 1 WEEK DROP IN: One day will be deducted
16. CLASS PARTICIPATION
Please read the class description before attending. Arrive on time and be considerate of other. You can find more information about studio etiquette on our FAQ page.
17. DISCLAIMER
YO STUDIOS is not responsible for lost belongings or personal injuries sustained at the studio or during online training.
18. PERSONAL DATA
By purchasing, you agree that we store your information in accordance with our privacy policy.
19. RIGHTS
Digital products, such as livestreamed classes, on-demand videos, and similar, are for private use only and may not be copied, resold, redistributed, or otherwise shared. All rights to digital products belong to YO STUDIOS.
20. RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL
As a customer, you have the right to withdraw your online purchase within 14 days of the purchase date. At YO STUDIOS, this applies to purchases made via our website or app.
The right of withdrawal only applies if you have not used the product. If you have already attended a class or used the membership/product in any way, the right of withdrawal is void.

21. CHANGES
YO STUDIOS reserves the right to:
Change prices. Price changes will be announced via email in advance, allowing you time to cancel your membership if desired.
Adjust schedules at short notice. If changes affect classes you have booked, you will be notified via email and SMS as described in section 15.
Amend the terms and conditions above. Changes will be announced on the website and via email to existing members.
