FITNESS

What?
Barre is a movement form inspired by ballet, presented and conveyed in a way that everyone can participate. Both our Barre and Ballet classes increase your control of both large and small muscle groups, meaning your body control and understanding become very strong. Standing at the barre is both challenging, fun, and effective if you want to work on your strength, mobility, endurance, and balance all at once.

Focus?
Both Barre and Ballet have a significant focus on mastering body control. Both can be considered full-body workouts, but also fantastic training for coordination and thus great brain gymnastics.

Who?
Both Barre and Ballet are for everyone - Ballet is more technical and takes time to learn, whereas Barre is simplified and easier to dive into. Supplement these classes with strength and cardio training as well as yoga to challenge the body in as many ways as possible.

Impact?
Low to High impact with varying intensity from 3/5 to 4/5.
